No Sunset Quite Like That One
Ocean waves roar as they roll inland.
The tide rising and falling with each passing day.
Seagulls crow while on the hunt for a snack.
Their reflection gleaming over the clear waters.
I hear several conversations going at once.
The wind flowing across my delicate skin.
Pushing my hair into my face.
I close my eyes and listen to nature's beauty.
You speak to me and my eyes suddenly open.
Explaining to me the simplicity of the ocean.
I ask many questions for I don't seem to understand.
I'm only a little kid after all.
You paint the picture in your mind.
And begin to give me elaborate details.
You always had a way of doing that.
